Special Count
A Modifier sits in the left column and works on every word until you sell it. Its Quality is rolled when it is offered, and Buff raises it one step at a time.
By quality

| Normal | ×★ | Multiply the Final Score by the number of special tiles in the word (when there is at least one). |
| Improved | ×★ | Multiply the Final Score by the number of special tiles in the word +0.5 (when there is at least one). |
| Flawless | ×★ | Multiply the Final Score by the number of special tiles in the word +1 (when there is at least one). |
| Marvelous | ×★ | Multiply the Final Score by the number of special tiles in the word +1.5 (when there is at least one). |
| Perfect | ×★ | Multiply the Final Score by the number of special tiles in the word +2 (when there is at least one). |
Changes
- v0.235.0 · 2026-10-24 Special Count and Special Trio no longer count a plain Exclamation; a marked one counts as its mark.
- v0.235.0 · 2026-10-24 Special Count adds +0 on Normal, +1 on Flawless and +2 on Perfect.
