Perks
Perks are what make each Run different. Modifiers sit in the left column and work on every word until you sell them. Upgrades sit in the right column and have a number of uses; tap one, then the tile to use it on.
Rarity and quality
Every perk has a fixed Rarity , from Common to Legendary, and a Quality rolled when it is offered, from Normal to Perfect. Higher quality means a stronger effect; each perk's page shows its value at every quality. Buff raises a perk one quality at a time, paid with the OP from the round you just cleared.
Getting perks
A Run starts with a pick of 3 perks. Every cleared round then offers 3 more: pick one, Reroll for new offers, Banish one to keep it out for the rest of the Run, or skip for +2 refreshes. Perks you already own are never offered again. Perks unlock as your meta level rises, and some through challenges.
